Work experience
An established jewellery design company in which I gained valuable knowledge in the area of commercial design. I followed a project through from the generation of mood boards to design, functionality and technical drawing.
I produced an advert to accompany my design in which I received great credit for and has been used as an example of a good advert within university.
At Weston Beamor I used CAD to create a multitude of varied designs requested by customers. I also had to create rendered images of the designs for customers to see before the manufacturing process could proceed.

Phioro Design & Marketing Assistant
September 2013 - December 2013
A luxury, fine Jewellery House located in Dubai in which I was design and marketing assistant. Tasks included concept creation, research images for inspiration, initial design ideas and rendering of final designs for collections. I would also use CAD to create 3D Files ready for rapid prototyping. I was also involved in bespoke design, from the initial stages of concept creation to design ideas. I played a big role in the development of the branding from tag lines, market research, social media, website and showroom development specific to the luxury market. Tasks included trend analysis, reports, creative research, administrative, costing’s, event organisation and attendance at fashion shows/events. I gained an extensive amount of knowledge during my placement and was expected to apply myself to a multitude of different roles/tasks, which I completed to an excellent standard.
